Watch Satellite TV On Computer Using Digital TV Cards

Watch Satellite TV On Computer Using Digital TV Cards

In the next few posts, we will look at a few ways to watch satellite TV on computer. In this portion, I am going to share with you what some guys are using to have a quick fix.

Have you heard of Digital TV cards?

Such cards can enable your computer to become a satellite TV. However, there is one thing I have to caution you first. Normally, these cards are pirated and sold via online auctions. Mind you, you could be dealing with a satellite TV pirate if you buy it from them. How do you know if they are pirates? These people usually peddle their digital TV cards for about $40. These cards essentially are built and coded to steal satellite TV feeds from established satellite TV service providers.

The reason why some people are willing to risk dealing with satellite TV pirates and hackers is the cheap cost involved. While it is cheap to watch satellite TV on computer using these pirated Digital TV cards initially, it can prove to be very expensive at the end of the day. Let me explain more.

You see, the hackers and pirates are intelligent. But the Digital satellite systems administrators and developers are not dumb either. They are able to come up with jammers or jamming devices or other types of electronic counter measures to jam the Digital TV cards so that they cannot work anymore. So if you are using these Digital TV cards, you could end up with a non-functional one at any time without warning. Imagine watching your favorite satellite TV channel on your computer and suddenly the card hangs on you? Worse still, what if it hangs immediately after you bought it?

When it dies on you, you have two options. One is to go to the satellite TV pirate and buy a new one or you ask them to decode your card. Frankly, I see no value in both ways since you cannot stop the whole jamming cycle anyway. There is no guarantee that the jam will not occur again.

There is a better way to watch satellite TV on computer.
